Completed Employment Applications are reviewed by HRD staff, and qualified applications are forwarded to the appropriate hiring supervisor. The supervisor reviews these applications and selects applicants for interview. Once the supervisor has completed interviewing he/she makes a tentative selection and reference checks are conducted on that applicant. If the reference check is satisfactory an employment offer is made. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Some positions may require a driving record review and additional background checks. Background checks and drug screenings are conducted on every new hire.
