Job Description:
Coordinates the POAA (Virginia Property Owners’ Association Act of 1989) disclosure document and inspection process.   Works under the general supervision of the Community Compliance Manager.  
  1. Coordinates the POAA request process by completing disclosure documents in full compliance with all legal requirements of the POA Act.
  2. Performs inspections to support the disclosure documents to ensure compliance with Association’s Covenants and Design standards (including taking clear photographs of all sides and elements of the unit, and clearly photographing everything that is being cited).
  3. Provides reports and statistical data regarding POAA operations; works with the IT and Finance Departments to update POAA database as necessary.
  4. Acts as liaison between the local real estate community and members and the Covenants Administration Department to answer any inquiries related to POAA documents.
  5. Responds to requests from lenders and agents regarding Planned Unit Development (PUD) forms.
  6. Meets with members that request information as necessary.
  7. Assists Compliance Manager with preparation and updates of POAA and PUD budgets.
  8. Assists Covenants Advisors with re-check inspection during off-season periods, and/or assists with other large departmental projects
Minimum Qualifications:

Two-year degree, or equivalent, from a two-year college or technical school plus two years experience and/or training with property management, community associations, real estate, construction or home improvement; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CMCA preferrable.

To perform this job successfully an individual should have keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and database applications, and advanced knowledge of Adobe PDF.  

Requires effective oral and written communication skills; ability to meet deadlines, ability to manage administrative details and to prioritize, plan and organize work; knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment; and ability to work within a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships. Knowledge of real estate market desirable.

Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
